Founded in December 2004, Havalight is a community-oriented organization targeting the upscale international Jewish audience in New York. Havalight events are planned 2-3 a month at various locations throughout NYC. A theme is usually created for every one of these events to keep every one of our celebrations unique. Our one of a kind events have earned us the reputation of NYC‘s hippest Jewish organization. Our themes can vary from Jewish Holidays, to garden parties, to fund raising, and everything in between. We ensure the quality and the exclusiveness of our events by promoting them to a very selective group of people.

Everyone can access the website, but only our members can actually register for the planned event. Members can either be grandfathered in or invited by an existing member. Our membership is free, but everyone gets screened to ensure a professional, upscale, interesting crowd. 1- Background
